Hello! My name is Jen and I am so happy you are here. I have been teaching for nine years. I currently teach 5th Grade ELA/History. Prior to 5th grade, I taught Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd. My heart belongs in 5th grade though.
On top of being a teacher I am a girl mom to my three lovely daughters. Avery is 5 and Bailey and Charlotte are 2.5. They keep me busy and I am obsessed with them. It took me awhile to get each of them and I am forever grateful. Their dad and I met in college at Northeastern University and he’s been stuck with me ever since. 🙂
I love teaching. I love reading. I love writing. I love spending extra time planning engaging lessons. I love hearing and watching my students interested in a lesson. I get joy in hearing that my students enjoy coming to school.
